dead grass

today we had a fair amount of free time, and since it finally stopped raining, i wanted to take gabe downtown to do his portrait outside. as you have probably noticed, i love pictures in the grass, but when we reached our chosen destination today, most of the grass was dead.  at first, i was disappointed, but after a few pictures, i was in love.
