at play
my has it been busy around here. not an up to something special kind of busy, but a normal life with three young boys sort of busy. the kind of busy thats made of teething babies, potty-training toddlers and nearly-four-year-old energy levels. the kind of busy that means seven loads of laundry to fold on a tuesday night and then full laundry baskets the very next day (you mamas out there know what i am talking about!). there have been stomach bugs and runny noses, many (many!) sleepless nights, workout routines started (and halted, thanks very much previously mentioned stomach bug), and plenty of things left undone.
my documentation skills have been lacking lately (for when, i ask you, is a mama of three incredibly active boys going to take her eye off of them long enough to snap a picture... only under the most controlled circumstances, lest ezra the dasher escape my view and disappear from sight). i do, however, have a few completely random samplings from our most recent days. and amidst the busyness of this life, i care not to attempt to tie them all together. rather, i will record them hastily here before this rare quiet moment passes and get back to those seven loads. enjoy.

at nine months...
precious titus
:: weighs in at only 17.5 pounds (9th percentile) and is 28 inches long (15th percentile). definitely a little guy!
:: crawls all over the house. and stands holding on to things. and walks holding onto things. i am sure that first steps and all out walking are not far behind.
:: loves playing with and next to his brothers. he is certainly ready to join their world and be one of the big kids.
:: has one little tooth in the bottom of his mouth.
:: waves and says "hi" to just about anyone within earshot. he has the sweetest little voice!
:: loves taking a bath with his brothers more than anything else we do all day. he wiggles and cheers as soon as he hears the water running.
:: loves to drum and sing and dance. at this point, i am not surprised. he is a sivyer boy. is there anything else in life worth doing?
:: is the clingiest, most dramatic of our children so far, i believe. but honestly, i don't mind one bit. i am happy to hold him close when he wants me!
:: gives the biggest open-mouthed baby kisses. in my (nearly!) four years of being a mother, i can honestly say that those first baby kisses are absolutely my favorite thing. i melt every time!
:: is incredibly sweet. several times a day, he will just lay his little head on me and cuddle. what a blessed mama i am to have such an easy-going, loving little third son!
