{spur-of-the-moment trip to gainesville to surprise my mom for her birthday!}

{jonah is one of the big boys now. here he is playing princess lucy on her throne. there were three other thrones set up so that the other boys could also rule narnia, though they did much less sitting and a ton more battling of enemies}

{coolest guy. ever.}

{this one cant fall asleep without a grown-up body next to his to remind him to lay still.  very time consuming, but the reward is seeing this twice a day.}

{jonah made up this game of sitting in the clean laundry... the other two just joined in when they realized how fun/ destructive it was!}

{he was throwing it gleefully over his head and shrieking with joy!}

{he said, "aww, look!  this cute fly just landed on my hand because he wanted to let me hold him!"}

"we have one trampoline, two playgrounds, and one hobbit house full of grasshoppers. i know daddy can kill them because he has big muscles!" -titus 

"his name will be bedless because he doesn't like to go to sleep." -ezra

"ez, if i ever have two huntin' hounds, i would give you one and get us some air rifles and we could go huntin' all night." -gabe (obviously in the middle of reading "where the red fern grows" with steve)

"this is my nickle (pointing to his belly button) and these are my noodles (pointing to his nipples)" -titus

"that was funny!  jonah, you just have to see the silly ezra that you love!" -ezra to jonah (apparently he was being particularly hilarious that day)

"mom, jabba the hut had a baby and his name was jabba the butt!" -ezra 

"maybe the food i eat is full of knowledge because i have been eating lots of food since i was four." -gabe

"mom, i was thinking i could take those berries over there and make a poison for hitler.  and then i remembered he was already dead." -gabe

"i have never been stung by a stingray because i am so dramatic whenever i step on one." -gabe (who has a lot of run-ins with stingrays at the beach, it seems)

"mom, you have to listen to me when i talk!  do you call them poop craisins?  because i call them poop craisins!" -titus (glad you got my attention son... very important discussion.)

and so that we don't leave him out:

"let it go, let it go" -jonah  (yes, he has been singing songs from frozen since his first birthday!)
