a new tradition

last weekend, i met my four closest friends from high school (middle school, too, actually) at the beach for a weekend that i hope will become a yearly tradition. we all live in different places now, so the hope is that for one weekend a year (or maybe next year, we could find a whole week?!) we could slow our lives down a bit, meet up someplace and reconnect.

this year, gabe and ezra came with me and ginny brought her son nate (just one week younger than ezra), so it was a very different look than our time together last year. but it was just as sweet.

i so enjoyed seeing katy, megan, ginny and rachel again, and am so blessed to still call them friends after all these years.

unfortunately, my documentary skills were lacking this year, and i only got one picture of us all (and not even a really great one at that). oh well, lessons for next time, i guess.
