at five months...

my darling ezra:

:: is still eating well and gaining plenty of weight. He is getting a little chunky and i love it! he is not, however, eating solid foods yet, as we chose to put this off for the recommended six months.

:: is much more reserved and quiet than gabe was at this age. people tell us all the time how content he seems and they are right. he seems much happier to observe the world than to entertain it.

:: rolls himself over to his stomach whenever he is lying on the floor. then, he gets angry that he is on his stomach and makes it very clear to anyone within earshot that he would like to please be turned over.

:: has been experiencing some sleeping trouble over the last few weeks due, i believe, to our excessive traveling. much to his mama's great disappointment, he no longer sleeps through the night as consistently as he did last month.

:: thinks he is hilarious when he blows raspberries.

:: is so sweet and cuddly and squishy and loving. i love watching his personality emerge and seeing how incredibly different he and gabe are already.
