as a side note, along with all of the fun he had, gabe experienced his fair share of trauma this weekend. first, i bought the coolest rocket ship toy for him at a garage sale on saturday. but when he sat on it and pressed the buttons, we found out that one of them made the whole thing vibrate. i have never seen him jump so high, and he would not go near it for the rest of the weekend! then, while playing a the sandbox, he lost his balance and fell into the swimming pool. steve, who was sitting right there, made a speedy rescue, but poor gabe was terrified that night when we went to the baptism and hid his face and wimpered every time the pastor went to dunk someone. then, as we were petting the horses on the property (where the baptism service was held), the horse sneezed as gabe reached out to pet its nose and scared him to death!

blissfully busy
we took a long weekend to be in tallahassee and to celebrate in the baptism of steve's dad. gabe and ezra were loved on and spoiled for four whole days and we all really enjoyed spending time with john and ofie. we went to the jr. museum, the mary brogan museum, out on the boat, to the top of the capitol, in the pool, and there was, of course, a little basketball sprinkled in as well.

How did Gabe like Mary Brogan? I want to take Camp, but not quite sure he's there yet! :) Cute, cute pics! I love the one of the goose....is that what it is?! :)
he liked it, but would like it better if he was a little older. the dinosaurs made him more nervous than i had anticipated. and, yes, it is a goose!
