when i found out that the lens that i dreamed of getting would not, in fact, auto focus on my camera i decided to see if i could get a much older version of the same lens on ebay. i did end up finding one for really cheap and since i spent so little on it, i wouldn't feel bad if i was terrible with it and never quite figured out how to use it correctly.
it's tricky because i have to meter the light by eye and focus it by eye as well, but i have been enjoying the challenge. i have actually been trying to use it more than the other one lately and have taken a few decent pictures with it. last night, more practice. i will definitely have to get faster with the focus to keep up with my boys!
