then, we went downtown and began the walking. we walked to the pumpkin church, and i took about a million pictures of gabe sitting among the pumpkins looking so grown up.
next, we walked to the fort, where gabe slept through the firing of the cannons.
after that, we happened upon a colonial craft fair, so of course we had to go there! i had visions of child-gabe one day learning to weave palm fronds, tan animal skins and dye yarn. saint augustine is such a fun place for a kid! after a break and some gelato, we made our way to our final destination, the greek festival, and had a look around.
after all the excitement, while we were laying around the house, i discovered that gabe had a tooth! you may ask, "but brittany, how could you not have known?" well, it is because gabe didn't make a peep about it! if i hadn't been a paraniod gum checker for weeks now, he could have grown an entire tooth before i even realized. i have been looking for all the signs: the fussing, the runny nose, the red chin, the fever... but alas, my boy grew a tooth without even bothering to let me know. leave it to my son to be so independent.
also, today patty (one of the sweetest people i know!) allowed me to borrow her camera to try out a fisheye/macro lens that i bought. i took a lot of pictures, and had so much fun doing it! there are more pictures from today on our flicker!
