shots...
yesterday, gabe went to the doctor for his four month old shots. last time he had shots, he slept all day and was better in the morning. not so this time. his appointment was not until the late afternoon yesterday, and because it was so long, he missed his nap... and then skipped another. after a long afternoon, he slept well last night (only woke up once), but woke up this morning with a fever. he has been the saddest boy i know all day, and oh so cuddly. hopefully he will be feeling better tomorrow so that we can start the solid food adventure. also, if anyone has any suggestions as to how to get an anti-bottle baby to take a bottle, would love to hear them. gabe HATES bottles, but needs to start drinking a little juice every day. more on that later!

we have four month check up monday and i am dreading those shots. lets talk solid food sometime soon and i will ask around about the bottle.
With the bottle, you'll just have to be patient and consistent, but don't force it on him. Try different kinds and try to give it to him at a "happy time." Arden refused bottles for a time, so we can talk if you want. And yes, 4 month shots are the worst from our experience...hope Gabe is feeling better!
