new project...

i am starting a project that will take me the rest of my life to finish! it is a blanket made of a million knit fish, all pieced together. why would i do this, you may ask? your guess is as good as mine. but now that i have put it on my blog, i will have to actually do it instead of just talking about doing it. before i can start, though, i will have to learn a whole bunch of new stitches (currently my only stitch is the knit stitch, so i will definitely have a lot of learning to do). oh what fun this shall be!
