steve's sister, katie, has been working for a christian radio station in tallahassee for quite a while. they love her there, so we were not too surprised when they offered her a job at the main station in tennessee. she accepted, and will be moving to nashville next week. since it will be quite a while before she comes to visit again, katie and john drove over today to hang out. gabe was fascinated with john and couldnt stop staring at him (it's alike he already knows where all of the spoiling will come from!).
we had lunch at a great local restaurant called "the back 40 urban cafe" (really good food of all kinds, and very reasonably priced). after lunch, gabe and marley napped while steve, john and katie went to the winery and to ripley's.
it was a great time, and although we are very proud of katie and excited for her upcoming adventure, we will certainly miss her regular visits. on the bright side, we now have a really good excuse to go to nashville!
