gabe has learned a new skill, and he practices it constantly. he blows raspberries all day, and i have been trying very hard to get a video of it, but every time i take out the camera, he stops what he is doing and stares at the camera. but, while he was getting his lotion last night, steve had him just distracted enough for me to get a little on video.
also, i was just browsing various sites, and i found this recipe for strawberry lime jam! that just sounds incredible. the directions are wonderfully detailed, which is good for a first time jam-maker like me. i sure have a lot of projects now that i have started this blog.
i am brittany. married to steve; mama to gabe, ezra, titus and jonah. we live in the poorest neighborhood of the nation's oldest city where we are learning to missionally live in community with our neighbors.
here, i record the details of our days; the moments that remind me of the goodness of the creator as i learn to seek Him in all things and to see His glory all around.
when through the woods and forest glades i wander and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees; when i look down from lofty mountain grandeur and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze: then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee: how great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Hi! wow thanks for the link!
In answer to your recipe question:
8 cups of cut berries (4 baskets) yield about 4 cups of jam. The smallest jam jars are 1 cup, so you would need 4-5 of those on hand.
You should totally try this. You have to keep an eye on this but it is so easy and satisfying!
