no fun in the sun

this morning, steve and gabe and i went to the beach. since we live so close, i figured it was about time that gabe experienced the water and the sand for real. when we first got there, he seemed to enjoy laying on the sheet.

however, as soon as he touched the water (for this time of year, i feel like it was pretty cold still), he decided that the beach was not for him. he pouted the rest of the time. but those of you who know me well know that i think its amazing when gabe pouts and so still enjoyed our beach experiment.
