5 weeks already?

gabe is five weeks old today. i cant believe that it has already been so long. a friend of mine came over yesterday with her 9 month old, and i could hardly believe that gabe would be that big in just eight short months. this week, gabe has become aware that we try to talk to him and the he can try to talk back. it is so funny to watch him try and form sounds. his little mouth is just not good at it yet, and it takes an increadible amount of work for him to get the sounds to come out. but he is always so thrilled with himself when he gets it. he is certainly turning into a highly entertaining little guy. i am going to post some pictures of him that are not very current. they are actually from when he was about two weeks old, but i just now got them on the computer, so i thought i should share.
