what a happy guy! gabe has begun to smile. he doesnt do it all that often, but when he does, it is enough to make my entire day. he is just so sweet. he is getting more and more alert these days, spending more time awake and getting to be more like a person and less like an alien every day. what an incredible experience the last month has been for us as we have waited for and finally started to get to know gabe. steve has been on spring break this week, and we have enjoyed some good family time. we even went to live oak and madison yesterday and spent some time introducing gabe to family, including two sets of very proud great-grandparents. and of course i could not resist the urge to take some pictures of naked gabe in the grass at the house in madison. (because, seriously, what is cuter than a naked baby?!) ill get those on the blog as soon as they are developed. it has been a great week and makes us all look forward to the summertime and all the fun things we will have time to do.
