steve and gabe play this game where steve tells gabe "the pain train's coming" and then tackles him onto the bed. it might be one of gabe's favorite games ever. it is based on the commercial. now, when we even mention the pain train, gabe does it as well.

today, i let gabe paint with watercolors for the first time while i washed the dishes. he really loved it. and, it seems, he even checked to see that the paint didn't taste good. i guess it didn't, bcause he never went back for seconds. i almost peed my pants when i turned around and saw him looking like this:
