six months old...

gabe turned six months old yesterday! i can't believe that my baby is half a year old already. it sure does go by quickly. here are a few things about six-month-old gabe:

-he scoots across the floor by pushing with his legs (has not quite figured out the arm part of crawling)
-he loves to chat, mostly to himself
-he fake coughs because he knows that it makes people look his way
-he can hear the sound of a shaking bottle from a mile away. as soon as he hears it, he breaks out into a huge grin.
-when he finds something funny, he will laugh at it over and over (it makes me feel like i am an exceptionally funny person)
-he is a pro at exersaucers and knows how to use all the toys on all three that he comes in contact with (ours, marley's and the church's) i think that he would happily sit in one all day if i would let him
-he is well on his way to a full head of blond hair (although it always looks brown in pictures...)
-he is 28 inches long and weighs just over 14 lbs.
-he can sit up for short periods of time but would usually rather stand (with a little help)
