what are you looking at, dog?

yesterday, i realized that gabe was getting too big for some clothes that were in his closet. silly me, i thought that i would have three more months until he fit the 6 month old clothes that we bought him. so now, i have to hurry up and use all the clothes that he is rapidly outgrowing. this morning when i dressed him for church i almost cried to see how grown up he looked. in fact, after visiting a couple of girls i know who had babies last week, i came home to realize that my baby is not all that tiny anymore.

gabe is getting to be a pretty strong little guy. he can pull himself into a standing position with only a little help, and is thrilled to be able to stand almost on his own. it is so fun to see him use all his strength and stand with only my hands to hold onto. he shrieks with excitement whenever he gets up. today, steve had him standing up against his legs. the dogs thought it was a very interesting situation and came over to sniff it out. gabe gave mordy the most amazing look to which i put the words, "what are you looking at, dog?" that gabe sure has a big attitude now that he's grown!
