volleyball monday!

on monday nights during the summer, our church gets a group together at the pier to play sand volleyball. while the dads play, the moms and kids go to the beach and to the water playground nearby. last night, steve and gabe and i went, and we had lots of fun. gabe was a real trooper, and when i put him in his car seat to nap, he fell asleep before i could even get his buckles all done.

after his nap, though, steve had fun pretending that they were playing volleyball.


gabe tolerated a little time at the beach, but was soon very tired and unexcited to be there, it was a really nice night at the beach, though.

sarah is one of my best friends, and loves gabe so much. gabe and i are so lucky to have her! Also, notice the blue cloth diaper sticking out of gabes onesie! yay for not spending money on diapers!
