a leftie perhaps?

over the past week or so, steve and i have noticed that there are very few moments when gabe does not have a hand (or both hands!) in his mouth. recently, though, it has become a regular occurence that gabe chews (yes, chews, not sucks) on his right thumb. i have heard that babies tend to suck on the thumb of their non-dominant hand. thus, steve is very excited because it looks as if gabe may be a leftie like him. (that is, if those old wives are right, which they are only on occasion.) also, for those of you who know steve well (or rather, young steve), the dinosaur shirt that gabe is wearing in this picture shows him to be steves true son, following in his nerdy (and very brainy) footsteps. it is only a matter of time before he is calling all of the dinosaurs by scientific name. i am so proud!
