From Steve:

Britt and I were being sassy this morning. She took a dish towel out of my hand, so I smacked her on the butt.

Gabe looks at me, and with absolute seriousness and glaring of the eyes he says: "Don't do that EVER AGAIN."

I said, "We're playing, buddy. But it's good you're being protective of your mother. What about me? What if someone was messing with me?"

Gabe: "I'd slap them too!"
