of fall

fall is finally here, and we have been busy (even though it really does not look that way!). of course, october brought pumpkins...

we carved a pumpkin and put it out on the porch, where it survived for all of three or four days before getting so moldy that we were forced to throw it out. oh this florida humidity! lesson learned: next year, we will carve the day before halloween.
