airshow

a couple of weekends ago, steve and i decided (at the last minute) to take the boys to the airshow in jacksonville. we planned to go just for the afternoon portion, but we underestimated the sheer number of people who go to an air show (go figure). we spent about an hour and a half in traffic before we finally parked. however, after all that, we made it just in time to get to the runway area as the blue angels were taking off. and i must say, it was totally worth the drive. i had no idea how cool it was.

gabe watched the whole thing with an unsure look on his face and a smile tugging at the edges of his mouth. i was a little surprised, actually, because it was so, so LOUD! and gabe is increasingly more sound sensitive as time goes on. but he let the noise slide this time in favor of watching the planes fly by.

ezra was... well, very ezra. he just sat in the stroller watching the people around him and being content. i really love that kid!

next year, we will totally go all day. there is a kids area and all kinds of cool stuff to see and i think both boys will really love it!

blue angels!

happy boy at the airshow!

a little nervous

I have never thought about going to an air show but have always heard really cool stories about them. Good to know you had a great experience. I'll have to check one out!
