at seven months ezra:

:: can sit up, but often collapses to the floor to get at something. he still doesn't do much sitting because he sees more fun in rolling around.

:: rolls wherever he wants to go. he can get to any toy just by rolling and thus has shown no interest whatsoever in crawling or anything like it.

:: has finally started to use his voice a little more, although he still does not use it much. he does a little babbling but is still mostly a quiet baby.

:: is eating a variety of foods, but not as many as he used to. he seemed to be reacting to a few foods so we backed up a bit. we are getting back to it, though and he is, of course scarfing down anything i offer him.

:: still has no teeth, but i am sure they are on their way. he is constantly drooling and chewing.

:: sucks his thumb! not my favorite habit, but it sure does come in handy when bedtime rolls around. he is a pro at falling asleep all on his own. no more swaddling and almost no more pacifier.

:: is a lap baby. unlike his brother at this age, he would rather be sitting quietly in someone's lap than trying to get to things he shouldn't be playing with.
