the list

on our way home a couple of weeks ago, gabe declared to me that he wanted "to make a list when we get home".  i forgot about it by the time we got in the door, but he had not.  he grabbed a sheet of paper and a marker and started asking for letters to words.  it didn't take me long to realize what he was doing.  "mom, i have to make a list of things to get for our new baby"

yes, i am pregnant.  and for the first time, one of our children is old enough to really enjoy it with me.  he has already decided that it will be a girl ("mom, God wants us to have a girl now") and what he will be naming her (theresa) and has begun talking to my belly each morning when he wakes up (which is a little weird, seeing as i am not actually very far along yet).  

we are all very excited, of course, and decided together that until this baby has a proper name, we will call it "crocodilla" (obviously the kids had a part in choosing).  i am once again all tangled up in morning sickness and general grossness (which, by the way, makes me swear off pregnancy every time.  obviously my memory is short).  

God is so good and generous with His blessings.  i am incredibly honored that He saw fit to make us a family of six (wow!) this spring.
