camping

for labor day, we met my parents at the suwannee river for some camping!  it was our first trip as a family but we got to cheat a little bit because my parents have a camper (so we got to use their bathroom!  and their air conditioning on occasion).  aside from it being difficult to get the kids to bed all together in one tent, it was super fun, and we are looking forward to doing it more often.  gabe spent a large portion of the trip on top of the van, "watching for predators!"  all three kids were in a golf cart parade, which, of course, they thought was incredibly cool!
