:: is still a teeny thing. he has, however, been begging constantly for food for the last week, so i believe that he will put on at least a few pounds before his first birthday.
:: has been a bit of a grump this last month as four teeth (yes, four!) made their appearance all at the same time. this has meant some very restless nights which led to a lot of cosleeping (which, for the record, i thought was glorious! nothing quite like waking to his sweet little voice!). fortunately, however, he seems to be almost out of it and only ends up with us in bed one or two nights a week after he wakes in the (very) early morning.
:: is getting a little daring. sometimes when he thinks i am not looking, i will catch him trying to stand without holding onto anything.
:: would eat his weight in bread if i would let him.
:: has finally mastered the art of napping without first crying in the crib. this milestone sure makes life in our home so much more peaceful. nighttime can go either way. some nights, he goes down without a fuss. other nights he is hysterical and needs help calming enough to fall asleep. on those nights, i try to remember how much i will miss rocking him in the (way to near!) future.
:: claps and dances. anytime there is music, he starts dancing (and sometimes singing) immediately.
:: is a tough little dude. with big two brothers, he certainly has had his fair share of bumps and bruises, but he is also adored by both gabe and ezra. every day, they love and hug and kiss on him and make sure he knows just how special a brother he is.
