rocket man

wednesday, the boys and i stayed in our pajamas (nearly) all day; i didn't sweep floors, wash dishes or fold laundry. instead, we made coke bottle jet packs and jetted around the living room all morning. it was exactly what we all needed!

and, yes, gabe's rocket has blue and green fire. i showed him a clip form "the rocketeer" to illustrate how a jet pack works and apparently he didn't think it looked all that fun. he insisted that he would take his rocket with no fire. eventually, he settled on "red fire is too scary, but blue fire is not scary, mom."
