My very excellent tío José Ignacio "Joe" Alsina y Garmendia, who basks in the Perpetual Sun and Surf of his home on Hull Bay (St Thomas USVI), sent Gabe and Ezra a Walmart gift card for Christmas. Joe looks something like this:
Gabe naturally thought of no other purchase (at least after we said no to guns, knives, and bats) but a terrific kick-scooter, which he termed a "scootboard" (portmanteau of "skateboard" and "scooter", with a nod to the Norse practice of linguistic conflation).
