giving thanks

this thanksgiving, we opted to spend the day at home. steve and i both come from large extended families and we have spent every thanksgiving since our wedding out of town visiting family. this year, though, we decided that we wanted to have thanksgiving here and celebrate with friends who were, for one reason or another, unable to be with their families. it was a gorgeous day and all of the food was amazing!
