love of family

have i mentioned how much i love our family? not our biological family (although, of course i do love them as well), but our church family; specifically, the gospel community group that meets in our home. this year, there have been many opportunities for them to care for us, and this incredible group has risen to the occasion again and again. God has really blessed us.

this past weekend, we decided to forgo our usual study and spend an afternoon at the beach enjoying each other's company. (contrary to what you might think by looking at our pictures, there are actually more people in our group than just me, steve and gabe. in fact, everyone else was playing volleyball and i was, apparently, not up for the challenge of taking pictures of the game, as there were no unblurry ones on the camera when i got home) the weather was nice (although i must say, maybe a little too cold for this florida girl) and we had a great time. and next time, i promise pictures of people who are not sivyers!

also, have i mentioned how much i really love this man!
