learning

on saturday morning (very early), i had my first photography class field trip. we went to cross park (a favorite spot of mine) and shot the sunset. then we stayed and took more pictures while the light was still nice. it was such a treat to be out by myself taking pictures without having to constantly look up to make sure gabe was still there. it was also a treat to have been able to borrow allison's zoom lens for the weekend.

i took lots and lots of pictures of just a few things, focusing on noticing the subtle differences that specific camera settings make. it is so refreshing to be a "learner" again.

right at the end, steve and the boys came to meet me because ezra was hungry. so, of course, i snuck in a few pictures of gabe (because, really, what would photography be for me if not for my boys?!)
