much to give thanks for

we have spent the last week in madison with my mom. it was a fantastic time of preparation for the ending of this pregnancy. i had lots of help with gabe and was able to take it easy (although, i am not really great at that). we worked on a few big sewing projects that were looming over me (because of course, i have put them off way too long and will now have trouble getting them done before ezra's arrival). we even squeezed in a little shopping, lunch with the girls, pedicures (so i don't go into labor with gross feet) and an ultrasound (more on that later).

for thanksgiving day, we headed half-an-hour away to the sivyer farm. i have really been looking forward to taking gabe to see all the animals and to run around with all the kids (the sivyer family has a LOT of kids). it was a really great day and we were so glad to have been able to go.
