year end catch-up :: vol. 2

we took the best field trip to a pioneer settlement just as the weather was getting cool. it made me want to move to the country and get sheep and spin wool and knit it into things (which, of course, would be a lot of work to go to for something that you get to wear approximately one month out of the year in florida). and grow a garden again.  and have all the animals. it really was a lovely morning, and one of my favorite field trips ever.
