at eight months...

sweet jonah:

:: still eats like a champ.  i don't remember any of the other boys eating quite the volume of baby food that this little guy can put down.  he is definitely a healthy boy!

:: is doing the hands-and-knees rock, so i am sure real crawling is just around the corner.

:: thinks his brothers are incredible!  he laughs and plays with them anytime they come close.

:: is not shy.  he will happily go to anyone, but prefers exploring independently to being held.

::  sucks his lower lip in just like his big brother gabe did as a baby.

::  still has only two teeth, on the bottom.

:: loves having his mouth patted so that he can make silly noises.

:: is exploring a lot with his voice and finding all kinds of sounds that he really likes.  also, his baby voice is adorably deep and not squeaky at all.

:: loves to give "low-fives" by patting his hand on yours.

:: pats me on the back sweetly when i pick him up.

:: gives very aggressive open-mouthed baby kisses when he gets close enough to someone's face.

:: gets a lot of compliments when we are out about how content and happy he seems.  he really is just the most wonderful, easygoing baby.  we are so blessed he is ours!
