at three months...

our sweet jonah:

::  is a smiling, laughing (on occasion), joyful baby.  seriously, he is one of the happiest babies ever.

::  has discovered his hands and sucks on his fists anytime he is awake.  he keeps his thumbs tightly tucked in, so there is no sign of his becoming a thumb sucker anytime soon.

:: will fall asleep just about anywhere, still, as long as it is to his particular liking.  in the sling (if he is being bounced), in the stroller (as long as it is moving), in the swing (if it is swinging and there is music on), on my bed (if i nurse him and them stay next to him), or even occasionally on the couch (if he is just the right amount of exhausted).  he really is a good sleeper, waking at night for just one (super short) feeding.

:: is a friend to all.  he is happy to flirt with anyone he meets.

:: is growing fast. he is  already in size 2 diapers!  (so sorry, but wasn't he just born?!)

::  loves all of his big brothers!  he doesn't even cry when they hug and kiss him too much (or not gently enough).

::  is truly such a perfect addition to our family.  already i cannot imagine how we ever lived without this amazing kid.
