turtle trot

back in february, steve's parents came to town to run the one mile turtle trot fun run with the big boys.  gabe has been talking about wanting to do a fun run since last spring, when i ran my first 5k.  the race was on the beach, so beforehand, the boys got plenty wet playing in the waves.  gabe ran the whole race without stopping, thanks to some pacing help from his mimi.  ezra walked a good portion but ran to the finish line at the end.  titus made it a short distance with steve before he got bored and came back to play.  after they finished, they each collected a "champion water" and proudly drank it.  it was such a fun morning!
