every year, st. johns and surrounding counties have tour de farm. various farms dotted all over the first coast open up for tours and demonstrations. i had hoped to go last year, but i was so incredibly pregnant that when it came down to it, i was too exhausted to do anything but nap after church.
but we made it this year! it rained all morning before hand, so the boys and i arrived in our puddle boots (theirs for splashing, mine for retrieving the splashers when necessary). several people from our gospel community went with us, and it was so lovely to be in such great company. we went to four different farms and enjoyed bar-b-q, a hayride, potato art, animals, and a couple of tours complete with carrot pulling for the kids. steve was a saint to put up with the whole thing and do it smiling. i loved every minute and plan on going again next year!
