friends

for new years, we took a little vacation (more on that later!). the boys and i headed to tallahassee a little ahead of steve so that i could get in some time with the girls. we try to do a yearly get together, but have not succeeded in getting anything planned for this year. so, we settled for wine and desserts one random night while we were all in town for the holidays. as always, it was so lovely to be with them and i really enjoyed catching up and looking back.

the next morning, the boys and i went over to ginny's house and had a playdate with her and her son nate, who was a great sport for letting three crazy boys invade his house and play with all (and i mean ALL!) of his toys.
