to the park!

this week, the big boys and i had appointments to get haircuts. for us, that is a big deal and requires some real planning to pull off. our hairdresser (who we love!) just moved to a new salon which is terribly cute and also fairly small. so, i knew that having them hang out the entire time that i was getting my haircut was not going to be an option. but, the new hair place is downtown and close to one of our favorite st. augustine places... cross park! with the help of our good friend lauren (who hung out with the boys while it was my turn), we had a picnic at cross park (including cupcakes that we snagged at our favorite shop!) and the boys ran around in the grass and fed squirrels all morning. and a bonus: the weather has been cooling off in the mornings, so we were also able to have all that fun without showing up to the salon drenched in sweat!
